Why replay Xiaomi on the global version and what are the risks?

Xiaomi smartphones purchased in China or on AliExpress often come with the Chinese version of MIUI firmware. It differs not only in the interface language, but also in the set of pre-installed services (Baidu, WeChat, Alipay), the lack of Google Play, as well as restrictions on regional features – for example, the inability to use NFC to pay abroad or problems with the operation of 4G/5G in some countries.

Preparation for Flashing: What to Do Before Starting

Before proceeding with the procedure, make sure your device is globally compatible. Some Xiaomi models (e.g. Redmi Note 11T Pro+ or POCO F4 GT) have separate versions for China and the global market with different hardware configurations. Installing incompatible firmware can lead to broken modules (camera, sensors, modems).

Typical errors and their solutions

Even when following the instructions, users often encounter errors.
