How to update the scooter Xiaomi: step-by-step guide

Xiaomi’s electric scooters (including the M365, Pro, Pro 2, Essential) require regular software updates to work properly. New firmware versions fix errors in battery management algorithms, improve braking recovery, and improve overall electronics stability.

Owners often face a situation where the scooter stops responding to commands or shows errors on the display. In most cases, this is solved by simply flashing the controller. The BMS (Battery Management System) update process takes 10 to 20 minutes and requires a stable Bluetooth connection. It is important to understand that interrupting this process can lead to a battery lock.
