How to Set Up Notifications on Xiaomi: From Basic Parameters to Hidden MIUI Chips

Basic notification settings in MIUI

Starting with the basics of where and how to turn notifications on/off for individual applications, the path to settings is standard for most versions of MIUI 12-14:

1. Open Settings → Notifications and Status bar.
2. Go to the Notification Management section.
3. Select an app from the list (such as WhatsApp or VKontakte).

Here you will see three key switches:
