Why screenshots on Redmi 9T aren’t as easy as they seem

Method 1: Classic button combination (always working)

The most reliable and versatile method is the use of physical buttons, which works on Redmi 9T regardless of the firmware version, even if all gestures are disabled.

1. Open on the screen what you want to capture (message, page in the browser, settings, etc.).
2. At the same time, press the power button (right) and the volume reduction button (left).
3. Hold them for 1-2 seconds until you hear the sound of the camera shutter and see the animation of the screenshot.

If you're too lazy to remember button combinations or gestures, add a screenshot button to the notification curtain. This takes 10 seconds and saves you in situations where you need to take a screenshot as quickly as possible.

How to set up:

1. Open the notification curtain (swipe from top to bottom).

3. Find a screenshot in the list and drag it to the active panel.

Method 5: Screenshot of the scrolling page (scroll screen)

2. Immediately after the appearance of the screenshot in the lower right corner, tap it.

Where are screenshots stored and how to transfer them to the computer

By default, all screenshots on Redmi 9T are saved to:

But it's easier to find them.
