1. Types of inscriptions on the lock screen Xiaomi: system vs user

4 Hidden settings: where the inscriptions on older versions of MIUI hide

On smartphones with MIUI 12 and below (e.g. Redmi Note 9 Pro, POCO X3 NFC), the text on the lock can be hidden in non-obvious menus.

5 How to Remove an Inscription If It Doesn't Disappear: Radical Methods

If the text remains even after all the manipulations, the reasons may be more serious:

1. Damaged firmware: After a failed MIUI update, system files could get damaged. The solution is to reset to factory settings (Settings → About Phone → Reset).
2. Malware: Some viruses add ads to the lock. Check the device through Security → Scan.
