1. Open the Phone app.
2. Enter the combination: ##36446337## (or #3644637## on some models).
3. You will be taken to Engineer Mode. Go to MTK Settings → Telephony.
4. Find the SIP → Call Record item.
5. Activate the Enable Call Record (or Auto Call Record) option.
6. Save the settings and restart the phone.

After you restart, check if the recording button appears in the call interface. If it doesn't, try again to type the combination or check for the support for the engineering menu for your model.

If you make a call through Google Meet, WhatsApp or other VoIP services, you can record a conversation using Google Drive, which is not suitable for regular mobile calls, but is useful for saving online conferencing.

How to record a VoIP call:

1. Open Google Drive on your phone.
2. Press + → Record.
3. Start the recording and turn off the application.
4. Start a call on WhatsApp, Telegram or another messenger.
5. At the end of the conversation, stop recording in Google Drive.

Where are the phone records for Xiaomi stored?

Depending on how you write, the files are saved to different folders, and here's where to look for them:

To open the folder with the records:

2. Go to the Inner Memory.

4. Files are sorted by date. The name usually contains a phone number or a contact name.

If the folder is not:
