Before you start active setup, you need to make sure that the equipment is compatible and the necessary components are available. Auto-binding is only possible using the original Wink 2.0 remote or later, equipped with a motion sensor and voice control. Older models can support only basic functions or require manual configuration through complex menus.
Preparation of equipment and compatibility check
The first step is to visually inspect your remote, and not all models support advanced TV controls, and the front of the device, usually at the top, should have an infrared transmitter hole, and that's where commands are sent to a Redmi or Mi TV receiver.

What if the remote is not in training mode?
Setting up Bluetooth connection for voice control
Modern Wink remotes use Bluetooth to transmit voice commands and control the console interface, which does not require direct vision. However, to control the TV itself, Xiaomi is more often used by the IR port, but Bluetooth may be needed to activate some smart features.
