1. Standard wallpaper carousel in MIUI (without ROOT)

To start with, the simplest feature is the built-in MIUI feature that most firmware has but is hidden from the user, which works on Redmi with MIUI 12.5 and later, including HyperOS (if it is already available for your model).

To activate the carousel:

2. Carousel from personal photos through the Gallery

If you need your photos to be automatically changed on your desktop (such as from travel or family moments), use the built-in Xiaomi Gallery feature.This method does not require ROOT and works on all Redmis with MIUI 11 and above.

Instructions:
