Why Redmi Wallpaper Is Tired of the Standard Wallpaper – and How to Fix It
The screensaver on the Xiaomi Redmi is the first thing you see when you unlock your phone. But standard MIUI wallpaper (even in the latest version 14) often looks boring: abstract patterns, monochromatic gradients or banner ads from Xiaomi. The good news is that you can change them in 2 minutes - and not one way.
In this article, we will discuss all the current methods of changing the screensaver on the Redmi Note 10/11/12, Redmi 9/10/13C and other models - from basic replacement through the gallery to hidden features of the themes of design, and also explain why sometimes new wallpapers "fly" after a reboot and how to fix it.
Important: the instructions are suitable for MIUI 12/13/14 (including global and Chinese versions).If you have Redmi on Android One (like Redmi A1), the method will be different - this is a separate section.
Method 1: Quick replacement through gallery (for beginners)
The easiest method is to use the built-in Wallpaper feature in the phone's menu. It works on all Redmis with MIUI, including budget models like the Redmi 9A or Redmi 10C.
How to change the screensaver in 5 steps:

Method 2: Using the built-in MIUI theme catalog
MIUI offers hundreds of free themes, including wallpaper, icons and fonts, which is a great way to do more than just change the screensaver, but to completely redesign your phone.

- Open any file manager (Mi File Explorer, Solid Explorer)

Method 5: Resetting wallpaper to standard (if something went wrong)

How to return the standard screensaver:

Problem Solving: Wallpaper doesn't change or fly off
If after all the manipulations the screensaver remains the same or returns to the standard, check these points:
