The process of connecting a new remote to a Xiaomi TV requires precise execution of actions in a specific time sequence. An error in timing or keystroke order can cause the TV to simply not "see" the input device. Before starting the procedure, make sure that the TV is on and in working mode, rather than in standby mode.
There are two main methods of activating search mode, which depend on the design of your remote: the first method of standard models, which come with Mi TV P1, A2 and similar series, the second method is more common in consoles for Mi Box S and earlier versions of TVs.
