How to completely disable advertising on Xiaomi smartphone: 7 proven ways

It’s important to understand that Xiaomi is constantly updating its ad-show mechanisms, so there’s no one-size-fit solution – you’ll have to combine approaches.

1. Disabling personalized advertising in MIUI

The first step is to deactivate the targeted ad mechanisms that Xiaomi uses to collect your preferences, which won’t remove all banners, but will reduce them and make them less intrusive.

Go to: Settings → Google → Advertising (or Settings → Additional → Privacy → Advertising on new versions of MIUI).
