Express method: disconnecting hot keys
The fastest way to stop the continuous flow of speech is to use a keyboard combination on the remote control. Android TV provides the ability to instantly activate and deactivate the TalkBack function without having to log into deep settings menus, which is especially convenient when voice is running too fast, without giving time to find the right item.
To perform this procedure, you will need to press two specific buttons at the same time. These are usually volume buttons, but on some Xiaomi remote models the combination may be different. Hold them for 3-5 seconds until the characteristic audible signal or vibration of the remote appears. If the method works, the voice accompaniment should immediately stop.
It's important to note that depending on the firmware version, the key combination can vary. If you're not doing the volume buttons, try the other options listed in your model documentation. Often users confuse the remote modes, so make sure you're pressing the physical buttons, not the touchpads.
