Why are the old records missing?
Google Calls on Redmi Note 10 Pro
It is worth noting the important nuance characteristic of the global versions of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. In many regions, the standard Xiaomi call has been replaced by the Google Dialer application. This application has its own data storage rules and differs from the classic MIUI interface. In Google Call, conversation records are often stored in a separate secure container and are not visible in a regular file manager without root rights.
To find Google Caller, open the app, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and select Settings. Then go to Record Conversations, which will indicate the path or ability to listen. Sync with Mi Cloud and Google Drive
Xiaomi smartphones today are closely integrated with the cloud ecosystem. If you can't find a file on your device, chances are it was automatically uploaded to the cloud. This is a common situation where you turn on the "Memory Cleanup" or "Storage Optimization" feature. Check the Mi Cloud app in your phone settings.
The Dictophone or Records section of the cloud service may store copies of your conversations, which you need to log into your Mi Account to access. The same situation can be with Google Drive if you have a backup of the application data set up, but you should consider that free space in the cloud is limited, and old files could be deleted automatically.
Cloud storage is especially important when you reset your settings to a factory or when you buy a used device. If the previous owner didn't untie your account, the records could be synced to their device, and yours could only be linked to or metadata. Solving problems with lack of records
There are times when all the settings are checked, but the recordings are nowhere. The first reason may be a lack of free space. If the Redmi Note 10 Pro memory is full, the system blocks the creation of new files. Clear the app cache or delete unnecessary photos and videos to free up at least 100-200 MB.
