How to add a second watch on a Xiaomi smartphone: all ways for MIUI

It's important to understand that the functionality depends on the version of MIUI and the phone model. For example, on POCO F5 with MIUI 14, the second watch is added through a widget, and on Redmi 10A with MIUI 12.5 you will have to use third-party applications. 1. Standard method: through MIUI settings

The easiest method is to use the built-in double clock feature found in most modern MIUI versions (starting with MIUI 12), which allows you to add a second dial to the lock screen or notification bar.

2. Scroll down and find the Watch section (on some models, the Watch Style).
3. Slip on Double Clock (or Second Time Zone).
4. Turn on the switch and select the desired city from the list (or enter the name manually).

2.The Clock widget on the home screen

If you don’t have a double-hour setting, you can add a second dial through the widget, which works on all Xiaomi models, including the budget Redmi A and POCO C series.

1. Long press on the free place of the main screen → Widgets.
2. Find the Watch widget (usually in the Tools or Xiaomi section).
3. Drag the widget onto the screen. Select the size (recommended 4×2 for better readability).
4. Tap the widget. → Settings → Add the city.
5. Select the desired time zone from the list or enter the city manually.

The advantage of this method is flexibility: you can place the widget on any screen, change its size and style (analog or digital watches), minus the time will be visible only on the home screen, not on the lock.

3. via the app "Clock" (MIUI Clock)

The standard MIUI Clock app has a feature to add additional time zones, and it works even on older versions of MIUI, but the interface may be different.

1. Open the Watch app.
2. Go to the World (or Time Zones) tab.
3. Slip the + icon in the upper right corner.
4. Enter the name of the city or select from the list.
5. Return to the Alarm or Clock tab – now the time in the selected belt will be displayed at the top of the screen.

This method does not add a second clock to the lock screen, but allows you to quickly check the time in another belt directly from the application. On some models (for example, Xiaomi 13T), you can also turn on the display of the second belt in the status bar here.

• 🕒 World Clock Time Widget – supports unlimited time zones and calendar synchronization.
• 📱 MIUI Dual Clock Enabler – activates the hidden double clock function on older versions MIUI (root).

To install a widget from a third-party application:

1. Download and install the app from Google Play.
2. Long press on the main screen → Widgets.
3. Find the widget of the installed application (for example, Dual Clock).
4. Drag it onto the screen and set up the time zones displayed.

⚠️ Attention: Apps like MIUI Dual Clock Enabler requires root rights and can disrupt the system, and only use them if you are confident in your actions.

5. Configure via ADB (for advanced users)

If your Xiaomi is running MIUI 13/14, but the double-hours option is blocked (for example, on some regional firmware), you can turn it on via ADB.
