The lack of a visible icon is often not due to deleting a file, but to the features of the launcher or system security settings. Android allows you to hide applications in folders or disable their display in the menu. Checking the availability of the application in the general menu
The first step should always be to carefully check the overall list of installed programs. Unlike iOS, Android separates the concepts of "installed app" and "shortcut on the desktop." The program can be fully functional and take up space in memory, but just have no visual representation on the home page. Open the menu of all applications, usually done by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or pressing a special button in the dock bar.
Use the built-in search bar to quickly find the missing item. Type the program name and wait for the results. If the search comes up but there is no desktop icon, then the shortcut simply wasn't created during installation. Some versions of MIUI have a setting that prevents you from automatically creating shortcuts for new programs to avoid cluttering the screen.
