1. Check the current firmware and region of the device

Before you try to add Russian, you need to understand what firmware is installed on your Xiaomi, which determines the choice of method of solving the problem.

1. Open your phone settings and go to About Phone (or About Phone).
2. Find the MIUI version line, or MIUI Version, which looks like a combination of numbers and letters, like MIUI Global 14.0.5.
