You can take a screenshot on a Xiaomi smartphone in at least five different ways, from the classic combination of buttons to voice commands and gestures. But many users face problems: the screen is not saved, the sound of the picture is lost or the page scroll is not working. 1. Classic method: power and volume buttons
It is a universal method that works on all Xiaomi smartphones regardless of MIUI or Android version.
- Open the screen you want to capture (app, web page, game).
- At the same time, press the Power button (on/lock) and the Volume Down button.
- Hold them for 1-2 seconds until you hear the sound of the camera shutter and see the animation of the screenshot.
Where to look for the finished shot? All screens are automatically saved to the gallery in the Screenshots folder (or Screenshots on Russian firmware), and they can be found through the file manager along the way:

An important nuance: on some models (such as the POCO F3 or Redmi Note 10 Pro), the power button may be sensitive.
