- After the reboot, reconnect the monopod.
Important: On some firmware MIUI (For example, the global version for Redmi Note 11 requires you to disable the function "Double tap to wake up" because it conflicts with the signal from the monopod.
How to check the functionality of the connection
To make sure that the monopod works correctly, perform the following tests:
- Selfie button test: Open the Camera app. Press the button on the monopod, you should take an instant photo. If the delay is more than 1 second, see the "Setting up the selfie button" section.
- Connection stability test: Move your phone 5 to 10 meters away from the monopod (if it supports that radius), check if the connection is interrupted, if so, the problem is interference or a weak monopod battery.
Compatibility test with other applications
- Try using a monopod on Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat.
- Some social networks require additional permissions in the application settings.
If the monopod is unstable, check the battery level. For example, in Xiaomi Mi Selfie Stick, when the discharge is below 20%, the connection fails (CR2032 or LR44, model-wise).
