1. Mirror video through the standard Gallery app
The easiest way is to use the built-in editor in the Gallery app** (called Mi Gallery or Photos depending on the region), which works on all Xiaomi devices with MIUI 12 and later, including HyperOS.
How to do this:
- Open the Gallery app** and find the video you want.
- Slip the video, then click the "Edit" button** (the pencil icon at the bottom of the screen).
- From the bottom menu, select the “Effects” tab** (or Adjust in English).
- Scroll down and find the Mirror option. Click on it to apply the effect.

- Open the Camera app** and switch to the front camera.
- Tap the Settings icon** (cog or three dots in the top corner).

- All videos taken with the front camera will be automatically mirrored.
For the main camera:
