1. Contact blacklist: basic method of blocking
The most obvious way is to blacklist a number, but MIUI has a deeper hidden feature than any other shell to find it.
- Open the Messages app (an envelope icon).
- Sms an unwanted text and hold your finger for 2 seconds.
- In the menu that appears, select Block (on some models, Add to the blacklist).
- Confirm the action by pressing OK.
The main disadvantage of the method is that the lock only works for a specific number, if the spammer uses different numbers (for example, mass mailings from operators), you have to add each one manually, and blocked SMS can still appear in the Spam folder, if you do not turn off this option in the settings.

- Activate the switch to Enable the spam filter.
- In the section Filter settings, tick tick: π Filtering advertising messages π Filtering fraudulent messages π± Filter messages from services (to block SMS from banks and operators)
