Owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones often face the situation when you need to remember stored login data, which can be a forgotten password from the Wi-Fi network to which the device is connected, or lost access to your own Mi Account. MIUI and HyperOS have their own features of storing and protecting confidential information that are different from pure Android.
Restoring access depends on what type of security you're interested in. For network keys, modern firmware versions allow you to view them directly in the settings. However, if you forget the lock code or the data from the developer account, the situation requires a deeper security intervention of the device.
It is important to understand that direct “recognition” of a password that you never set or stored in encrypted form by the system is impossible without special tools. Search and view Wi-Fi passwords in MIUI and HyperOS
The most frequent request of users is to connect a new gadget to the home network when the main router is far away and the password is forgotten.
