However, the modern technology embedded in the Xiaomi ecosystem and the Android operating system provides powerful tools to track the location of the gadget, the main thing is to act quickly and coolly using any available phone or computer.
Unlike simple button models, Xiaomi smartphone constantly exchanges signals with base stations and Wi-Fi routers, which allows you to determine its coordinates with high accuracy. Even if the device is in “no sound” mode or the screen is turned off, software functions can force the speaker to activate or lock the system. It is important to understand that the effectiveness of the search depends on whether the corresponding settings were activated in advance on the lost device.

Search for Mi Cloud (Find Device)
The most efficient and native way is to use the Mi Cloud service, which is built into the MIUI and HyperOS shell, and if the lost device was signed in to the Mi Account, and the Find Device function is activated, you can control the smartphone remotely. You do not need to have a Xiaomi phone at hand, any gadget with Internet access will do.
Go to the official i.mi.com website from any browser, enter your username and password from your Mi Account, and the system can request login confirmation via the username.
